Stop phoning around.
Even after all the phoning round, a lot still runs through the group chat. This is how it works now, and how it works with Signborn.

Hours and materials on a scrap of paper. By the time you invoice your client, that paper is gone.

Invite the self-employed sign installers you already work with, by link or email. They respond to your jobs just like other installers, and appear at the top of the list of responses. You can also post a job for your own network only, in any region. Always free.
From job to invoice, in five steps.
Address, date, sizes and what needs doing. You choose who sees it: everyone who fits, or only your own network.
Installers who fit by trade, certificates, region and calendar see your job and say yes or no. Saying no has no consequences.
Compare the responses, with your own network at the top, and choose one or more installers. Then the chat opens. With more than one installer, it's a single group chat.
GPS check-in on site, handover with photos and location. You approve within 48 hours, or raise an objection.
Job sheet: 3 of 3 done
All done as briefed
The installer invoices you directly, pre-filled from the job, and you pay within 14 or 30 days. Signborn sends a separate fee invoice. No money runs through Signborn.

The five best-matching installers get a notification, ranked on seven factors with fixed weights. Matching with new installers opens region by region. Until then, your job reaches your own network and approved installers nearby.

Minimum €15, maximum €150 per sign installer per job.
Per sign installer per job. You pay the sign installer's amount directly to the sign installer, not through Signborn.
The worry we hear most from agencies: our client will end up going straight to the sign installer. The platform takes that into account.
If something goes wrong, we contact you first. Any measure only follows after a written warning, always with the reasons and a chance to object.
Signing up and posting are free, with no subscription. You only pay per completed job: you pay the installer's rate directly to them. For a match the Signborn fee comes on a separate invoice: 8%, minimum €15 and maximum €150 per installer. With your own network you pay Signborn nothing. You see the total including VAT before you confirm, with no hourly surcharge or admin fees.
In an open region, suitable sign installers see your job as soon as you post it. The five best matches get a notification. Anyone interested responds and you choose. Signborn opens region by region, with the official launch in spring 2027. Until then, in every region your job reaches your own network and approved sign installers nearby.
Sign installers list their certificates (NEN 3140, MEWP, VCA) in their profile themselves. Signborn does not check them yet. If your job needs a certificate, only installers who listed it can respond. We do check public liability insurance, at admission.
After handover you have 48 hours to check the work. Don't agree? Then raise an objection in the app. The sign installer is notified straight away and you sort it out together. The invoices only follow after that. If you don't respond, the handover counts as approved. GPS proof, handover photos and the end client's signature are always in your file.
They overlap, but they're not the same. Sign installer is the umbrella term. A vinyl lettering installer or vinyl applicator works with vinyl on windows, facades and interiors. A sign fitter installs facade signage, light boxes and wayfinding, often at height. On Signborn you can see which trades and certificates each sign installer has.
No. For each job you make an agreement directly with a self-employed sign installer. They set their own rate and work with their own KvK registration, their own insurance and their own tools. Signborn brings you together, draws up the contract and the proof of handover, and invoices the Signborn fee. There is no hiring-in of staff, and the sign installer does not work under Signborn's direction or supervision.
Only after you have approved the handover. You then get the signmaker's work invoice and, for a match, a separate fee invoice from Signborn. You pay the work invoice directly to the signmaker, within the term you chose when posting: 14 or 30 days. You pay the fee invoice within 14 days. With your own network there is no fee invoice.
Before you choose, a signmaker only sees what needs doing, in which town and when. Phone numbers and addresses in your description are hidden at that stage. They only see the address and the on-site contact once you choose them. They never see the name of your own client, the fee or your total amount. Other agencies cannot see your jobs or your network.
Signborn helps you record things, not assess them. For each job it's set down what happens, when and at what rate. The sign installer sets their own rate, says yes or no without consequences and sends their own invoice. Signborn doesn't give the installer orders or work instructions. Whether your working relationship fits within the DBA Act (Wet DBA) depends on how you work together. Signborn can't assess that for you.
Just keep using that list. You don't need Signborn for the contact. Signborn is for what comes after: a job sheet signed off on site, handover photos with location and time, a report for your client and an invoice that's ready to go. Nobody on your list available? As soon as your region opens, other sign installers with a checked liability insurance will respond too.
Sign up free. Invite your regular signmakers and post your first job.
